Content creator and model Maheen Siddiqui has expressed gratitude to her husband, actor Sheheryar Munawar, for encouraging her to pursue music as she celebrated the release of her debut single, Main Tere Se.

Siddiqui announced the release on Instagram, sharing a series of photos to mark the occasion. The song, a collaboration with musician Saad Hayat, also features on the official soundtrack (OST) of Munawar’s newly released drama, Dar-e-Nijaat.

Reflecting on the response to her first song, Siddiqui thanked listeners for their support before sharing a heartfelt message for her husband.

“Wanted to say thank you for all the love. And to my husband, thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Your faith in me has carried me further than you’ll ever know,” she wrote.

She also thanked Hayat for inviting her to collaborate on the track. “Saad Hayat, thank you for inviting me onto this track and being so supportive. It was such an honour to work with someone so incredibly talented!!”

Ending the post on a light-hearted note, Siddiqui joked, “It’s time to upgrade to Spotify Pakistan Premium.”

The release of Main Tere Se coincides with the premiere of Dar-e-Nijaat, which debuted over the weekend. Starring Munawar alongside Durefishan Saleem.

Siddiqui and Munawar married in 2024 in a star-studded wedding attended by family, friends and several prominent figures from Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
