Mohib reveals how he first approached Sanam | The Express Tribune

Actor Mohib Mirza has dished out details about how he expressed his love to Sanam Saeed. The actors eventually tied the knot and announced their marriage earlier this year. While hosting his own talk show with Nida Yasir and Shaista Lodhi as guests – both of whom also hosts by profession – Mohib revealed how he first approached Sanam.

When presented with the opportunity to ask the host a question, Nida made sure to jump head first. Warning him, “I will ask a chatpata (spicy) question,” she went on to inquire, “How did you meet Sanam?” Mohib being Mohib, answered, “I will make that spicier for you, I will tell you exactly when I made the first move on Sanam.” Both Nida and Shaista giggled in excitement.

Mohib then revealed that he first approached the Cake star while shooting for TV serial Deedan. Deedan aired in 2018. “In the mountains?” asked Nida. “Yes, that’s where I expressed my feelings,” remarked Mohib. “Romantic environment, great weather, perfect timing,” chimed in Nida. “Yes,” agreed Mohib. “And I can see the girl right in front of me, no need to look down,” adds the actor, referencing to Sanam’s tall physique.

Mohib and Sanam announced their marriage on television in March this year. Mohib, who was previously married to Aamina Sheikh, shares a daughter, Meissa, with his ex-wife. Upon new beginnings, he said on Munib Nawab’s podcast earlier that he believes in second chances and living his life to the fullest. About Saeed, he simply said, “Sanam means beloved and Mohib means a lover and rest is self-explanatory.”
