AM Intelligence, an infrastructure platform set up by Greenko promoters, on Tuesday (August 25, 2026) placed a binding order for 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs for what it described as its first AI factory here.

The order covers 9,000 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs to be deployed as Vera Rubin NVL72 systems at AMI’s 30 MW facility in Hyderabad in the first quarter of 2027.

The facility is expected to be among Asia’s first frontier AI computing clusters using the Vera Rubin platform, the company said in a press release.

The Hyderabad facility will be the first tranche of AMI’s planned 1 GW of Compute-as-a-Service capacity across India, the United States, Finland and Malaysia, it said.

AMI plans to bring 200 MW of capacity to market in the near term, involving capital expenditure of more than USD 8 billion, it added.

AMI is developing 5 GW of powered AI data centres across India, the U.S. and Europe, integrating energy and next-generation computing to serve hyperscalers, sovereign AI initiatives, frontier labs and AI-native companies, the release said.

The facilities are being designed for high-density AI computing and will use liquid cooling to manage the substantial power and heat generated by advanced AI chips.

They will also be capable of accommodating successive generations of AI silicon, the release added.
