She shared that whenever she would say anything on set, the senior actors would look at her very weirdly
Actress Aina Asif was trending on Instagram after a video of her speaking at the show hosted by Imran Ashraf on the Chand Raat special went viral.
The actress is well known as a distinguished performer who rose to fame at an early age, taking on serious, challenging, and emotionally heavy roles at a young age. Her dramas, including Mayi Ri on child marriage and Judwaa, where she played a dual role, were especially popular.
Well, appearing on Ashraf’s show as the guest star, Aina opened up about the attitude of senior actors on set, saying that she had very uncomfortable experiences.
She shared that whenever she would say anything on set, the senior actors would look at her very weirdly, although she knew that she did not say anything strange, but rather that they just enjoyed making her feel uncomfortable.
She went on to say, “mujhe aisey lagta hai ke har koi ap ko tokta hai”.
Asif further shared that when she had to film serious crying or screaming scenes, the senior actors would be very disruptive, interrupting her throughout her lines.
“Mera scene hai, zaroori. Cheekha hai rona hai. Uth ke chalegaye. Ya woh close mai baate karahe hoge. Ya wo hasi mazak shuru karlenge director ke saat”.
Aina also discusses how they had the habit of copying her moves, often mimicking forgetting their own lines when she was about to speak.
“Pehle mujhe bas gussa atta tha phir ab mai kehti hou ke jaane do”, she shared.
Asif concluded by sharing that she has no tension anymore because she is used to it.
Ashraf gave her much appreciation on the show, calling her one of Pakistan’s biggest heroines.
“Hum toh isko choti si bachi samaj rahe the”, Ashraf said when introducing her.
Now “hamari sath wali ya agli wali kursi pe aake beht gai hai”, he said, complimenting her success.
