Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the all new V-Class, it’s luxury van at an introductory price of ₹1.4 crore ex-showroom all India.

The V-Class with a long wheelbase and with 6 seats in three rows, will be manufactured in India to provide the price advantage to customers.

Bookings have opened from Monday (March 2, 2026) and deliveries are scheduled from end of this month.

“The demand for spacious luxury vans is growing in India and this is the right time to introduce the V-Class in the Indian market, said Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

He said Mercedes-Benz customers will be given priority for delivery of this van than other customers.

“This will be one more car in their garage. For all those booking the car now we will ensure price protection against forex fluctuations,” Mr Iyar said.

Globally 15% of all Mercedes-Benz cars sold are V Class. In India the demand for luxury vans is increasing from the wealthy and political class who are seeking space and privacy while on the move.

Currently Toyota and Kia have Vellfire (₹1.3 crore ex showroom) and Carnival (₹60 lakh ex showroom) to cater to this segment.

“The V-Class addresses a growing trend amongst India’s opulent customers and trend setters, who seek an oasis of personal space, tranquility and privacy, while travelling in the lap of luxury. The decision to start the local production of the V-Class further reinforces our India commitment, adding significant value to our customers,” Mr Iyer said.

The vehicle is available in petrol and diesel variants.
