Here’s a look at the uncapped Indian players to watch out for in the Indian Premier League mini-auction on Tuesday.

Prashant Veer

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 50)

Shuttling between Kolkata and Mumbai last month to represent Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and the under-23 one-day knockouts has earned Prashant plenty of air miles — and possibly a lucrative payday. The reliable all-rounder, a big-hitting left-hander who also bowls orthodox spin, has been a consistent performer and is expected to draw interest from multiple franchises. Don’t be surprised if the 20-year-old fetches an eight-figure bid.

Ravi Singh

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 134)

The 24-year-old left-handed wicketkeeper-batter has emerged as a T20 find for Railways. His match-winning knock against Vidarbha in the SMAT league stage, which came soon after appearances in the IPL trials, was closely watched by several scouts. With his finishing ability and wicketkeeping skills, Ravi is being considered as a valuable back-up option.

Naman Tiwari

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 62)

An uncapped left-arm pacer who consistently clocks 140 kph, Tiwari has inevitably caught the attention of franchises. The Lucknow-born quick has impressed with his pace and control, and it remains to be seen whether the interest converts into a significant bid on Tuesday.

Auqib Nabi

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 41)

A seasoned swing bowler on the domestic circuit, Auqib has underlined his value in T20 cricket with a steady stream of wickets in the SMAT. Previously overlooked due to questions over pace and effectiveness under lights, the upcoming auction could offer the 29-year-old a change in fortunes.

Yashvardhan Dalal

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 131)

A hard-hitting top-order batter and wicketkeeper, Yashvardhan shot into the spotlight last season after smashing 400 in a Col. C.K. Nayudu (U-23) Trophy knockout tie for Haryana against Mumbai. Having carried that form into the SMAT, he will be hoping to attract serious attention at the auction.

Krains Fuletra

(Base price: ₹30 lakh | Auction Serial No. 275)

As distinctive as his name is his bowling. A specialist left-arm wrist-spinner, who consistently lands the ball in challenging areas, Krains has drawn interest from multiple franchises. Spotted during the Saurashtra Premier League, his potential was evident early, and while Sunrisers Hyderabad has tracked him closely, competition at the auction table is expected.
