Gold Prices – Monday, 6 April 2026 | The Express Tribune

Gold prices surged on Monday, the first trading day of the week, in both international and local markets, while silver prices declined.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold per tola increased by Rs 1,100 to Rs 491,462, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs 943 to Rs 421,349.

“Silver prices fell, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs 50 to Rs 7,744 and the 10-gram price decreasing by Rs 43 to Rs 6,639,” it said.

Globally, spot gold slipped 0.4% to $4,658.90 per ounce by 0706 GMT, while US gold futures for April delivery rose 0.1% to $4,684.30 amid thin trading due to holiday closures across parts of Asia and Europe. Spot silver fell 0.9% to $72.31 per ounce, spot platinum shed 0.3% to $1,983.62, while palladium gained 0.7% to $1,511.94.

On Saturday, in the local markets, the price of gold per tola held steady at Rs490,362, while 10 grams of gold remained at Rs420,406. On the global market, gold prices per ounce were stable at $4,676.

In addition, silver prices also remained firm, with one tola trading at Rs7,794 and 10 grams at Rs6,682. Globally, the price of silver per ounce held steady at $73.10.
