Blockchain games are making a comeback on the Epic Games Store marketplace including the ones with adult-only ratings.
While the store typically prohibits games labelled as “Adults Only” by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which usually indicates excessive nudity or violence, a recent announcement states that blockchain games falling into the AO category solely because of their blockchain integration will be exempt from this restriction.
Epic Games Store has made changes to its content policy to accommodate such blockchain-based games. It’s important to note that policies prohibiting content such as pornography, gambling, and hate speech remain in effect, and Epic Games clarifies that blockchain games cannot involve gambling activities.

As a result of this policy change, games like Gods Unchained and Striker Manager 3, which were previously removed from the Epic Games Store due to their AO rating, have now been reinstated in the store.
