ELDERBERRY (Race 6 No. 13 – $3.50)
Elderberry drops back from city grade and scored impressively first-up last time in. She’s going to be hard to hold out at Bendigo.
REGGIE’S FOLLY (Race 7 No. 12 – $16)
Reggie’s Folly got a long way back from a tricky gate but wasn’t disgraced in town last time. He can race closer from barrier five and might be over the odds.
SOME PEOPLE CALLME (Race 8 No. 8 – $3.60)
Some People Callme was too good first-up last time in but was sound against top three-year-old company at his last run. He’ll find this much easier.
QUBELLA (Race 3 No. 18 – $5)
Qubella wasn’t far away first-up before going down narrowly at Benalla last time. She’s drawn to have every chance at Ararat and should go close again.
CHEVAL SAVANT (Race 6 No. 3 – $2)
Cheval Savant comfortably handled the switch to Victoria when scoring at Benalla. He’s up a level in grade at Ararat but will be tough to beat again.
