With $376.2 million earned from overseas sales alone, Minecraft is not only dominating ticket counters but setting the gold standard for video game adaptations.

The film now holds the title of the highest-grossing Hollywood release of the year so far, and at its current breakneck pace, is expected to become the first film of 2025 to cross the $1 billion mark.
