The savory treat will set fans back £7 ($A13.50), however, they will not be on sale during the match against Burnley.

The vendor has revealed that it will not be in the fan zone due to a delay by are “hoping” to be back soon.

A picture of the ‘pizzadog’ went viral on social media when it was shared by the account Footy Scran.

And fans were left split about whether or not they would want one.

One fan claimed: “I’ll pay double.”

A second tweeted: “I’ll take two.”

A third wrote: “That is a combo I did not know I needed.”

Another added: “Ok you all might be on to something here.”

However one fumed: “Not a pizza, not a hot dog. Get in the bin.”

A second agreed: “Wow that pizza looks so good. Shame about the disgusting sausage in the middle?”

A third said: “Wouldn’t get out of bed for that.”

Another joked: “Science has gone too far.”

The account did put up a poll which was more conclusive as 78.9 per cent of fans voted the item as “scran”.

The item was available last season, however was priced at £6.50 ($A12.50)

Nottingham Forest have started the season in a positive fashion picking two wins from four games ahead of their clash against zero-point Burnley.
