OpenAI’s ChatGPT has become a powerful tool since its launch. Its ability to engage in natural conversations, provide information, and generate content has made it popular among users.

If you are an avid user or even a new one, here are some lesser-known features and techniques that can enhance your experience and make your interactions even more productive;

1. Highlight Important Information

While giving a prompt to ChatGPT, you want it to pay special attention to certain parts of your instruction and give more information related to that, you can write that word or phrase in bold to highlight it.

2. Give customised instructions

If you do not want to give the same instructions in every new conversation, you can always opt for the Custom Instructions option. This option allows you to add preferences or requirements that you’d like ChatGPT to consider when generating its responses. To opt for it, click on the three dots located on the lower left side of the screen and select the Custom Instructions option from the menu, and add your preferences in the dialog box.

3. Use System Messages

Start your conversation with a system message like “You are a helpful assistant.” It can set the behaviour and role expectations for ChatGPT and lead to more relevant responses.
