Passengers stunned as celeb spotted flying economy

Airline passengers were left stunned as a pop superstar was spotted flying in economy class.

Billie Eilish was spotted boarding a recent flight by an amused fan who couldn’t believe their luck.

The American singer and song writer then enjoyed her journey in the coach cabin, The Sun reports.

It’s unclear where Billie, 21, was travelling to but the aircraft didn’t appear to have a first class cabin.

Billie also shared a selfie on social media which showed her on board the plane.

Catching a glimpse of the Ocean Eyes singer, one passenger posted the short clip to TikTok.

They said wrote: “POV: When you spot Billie Eilish for free.”

The Sun previously revealed how Billie, who shot to fame in 2015, recently moved out of her parent’s home.

She relocated out of the property in California where she has written and recorded much of her music, after deciding she wanted more independence.

She is believed to have moved into a $3.8 million home in Los Angeles, previously owned by Leona Lewis, which Billie bought when she was 17.

She explained: “There was a moment over the summer where I was having an ‘I need to be an adult,’ moment.

“Like, ‘I need to have space and my own this and my own that’.

“I do need that in a lot of ways because you need that as you grow older, but then I’m now also like, ‘I like my parents being around’.

“I did move away. Now when I have a free night I go and hang out with my parents. That’s the first thing I think of doing.”
