Wipro Ltd. on Monday (April 6, 2026) said it bagged an 8-year contract worth $1 billion from Olam Group, a Singapore-based food and agri‑business firm in which state-owned investment firm Temasek Holdings has a majority stake.

Wipro said as part of the contract it would acquire Olam Group’s IT and digital services business, Mindsprint, for $375 million, an all-cash deal. Mindsprint would become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wipro, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions. The acquisition process is expected to close by the end of Q1 FY27.
