Speculation surrounding Suno Chanda 3 has resurfaced after actor Nadia Afghan confirmed that the much-anticipated sequel was originally planned for this Ramazan but had to be postponed.

Speaking on Tabish Hashmi show, Nadia Afghan revealed that the third Season of the hit Ramadan series was not only written but also contractually discussed before being delayed.

During Show Host asked with her that people often ask about Suno Chanda 3. Is it coming? Is it in the pipeline?

Nadia Aghan Said yes It is coming. “It was coming. In fact, it was supposed to happen this Ramadan you would have seen it by now,” she said during the interview.

The actress explained that the delay was due to Iqra Aziz’s pregnancy, describing it warmly as something that was “in the family.” Because of this, the production could not proceed as originally planned.

According to Afghan, preparations had moved forward significantly. “It has been written. We had contracts. We had talked about it.

We had to go to London only two people, me and Tipu, and Iqra of course, and Farhan,” she shared, indicating that part of the project was expected to be filmed abroad.

The original Suno Chanda, starring Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed, became a Ramazan phenomenon when it first aired in 2018. Its sequel further cemented its place as one of Pakistan’s most beloved Ramazan romantic comedies.The show’s light-hearted family dynamics and the on-screen chemistry between Arsal and Jiya made it a seasonal favourite.
